Clinical & Compliance Information

How clinical care works on ACCESS Marketplace, who is responsible for each part of it, and which compliance claims belong to which party. ACCESS does not claim any certification issued to another organization.

The role of ACCESS

ACCESS provides technology, navigation, and marketplace services: the storefront, product information, ordering, order support and shipping updates.

ACCESS is not a pharmacy, is not a medical group, and does not independently make prescribing decisions. ACCESS does not claim HIPAA, LegitScript, SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 certification for itself.

The role of our clinical platform partners

Clinical technology and provider infrastructure powered by our licensed clinical partners.

Our clinical platform partners support the clinical intake, licensed-provider review, secure patient workflow, e-prescribing and related compliance infrastructure.

Prescription requests are reviewed by licensed physicians in our clinical partner network.

The role of affiliated licensed medical groups

Clinical services are delivered by independent licensed medical providers through affiliated clinical partners. Those providers exercise independent clinical judgment and are solely responsible for prescribing decisions.

Practitioner-guided treatments require an online health questionnaire and licensed-provider review before any prescription is issued.

The role of pharmacy partners

Prescriptions, when appropriate, are electronically routed for fulfillment through participating licensed pharmacy partners.

Participating licensed pharmacy partners dispense and ship approved prescriptions under applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations. Some treatments may be dispensed as compounded medications, which are not FDA-approved for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing.

HIPAA and privacy framework

Health questionnaires, provider messages and prescription records are handled in a HIPAA-compliant clinical technology environment operated by our clinical platform partners and affiliated licensed medical groups.

This storefront handles commerce data only — orders, contact, shipping and payment records. It does not store clinical data.

Certifications and compliance claims

The clinical platform supporting ACCESS maintains HIPAA, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and LegitScript compliance.

These certifications belong to the licensed clinical platform and pharmacy partners that support ACCESS care. They are not certifications issued to ACCESS, and ACCESS does not represent itself as HIPAA certified, LegitScript certified, SOC 2 certified or ISO 27001 certified.

Certification marks and partner logos are shown as text only until approved assets and written usage permission are supplied.

Nationwide physician-network coverage

Our clinical partner network includes physicians licensed across all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Guam.

Treatment availability within that coverage still depends on state rules, product availability and licensed-provider judgment.

No guarantee of prescription approval

Submitting a questionnaire does not guarantee approval or a prescription. Purchasing or browsing does not create a provider-patient relationship, and no treatment is dispensed without licensed-provider review.

Emergency care

ACCESS and its clinical partners do not provide emergency care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
